I help clients in several ways. Sometimes, I play an active role on a Project Team, especially during the early part of a project. I am often asked to help improve and/or define the specific processes and procedures that would be most beneficial for the project to follow. Other times, I will work with senior management to help them understand what they can do to improve quality, productivity, time to market, and predictability. When appropriate, I incorporate training into a consulting task. For example, I often teach project teams how to develop more accurate estimates and schedules or how to incorporate peer reviews or inspections into the development process. I also provide training for SQA Groups to help them improve the effectiveness of their tests as well as to help them expand their role beyond testing. |
